The service is governed by Japanese law and is intended for foreign residents in Japan.

Karimoku Furniture Inc. (hereinafter, the "Company"), as a business entity of "manufacturing and sales" which is the Company's business, under the principle that the Company is in a position to set a standard for the appropriate handling of personal information as a company that contributes to society, hereby recognizes the importance of handling personal information appropriately, prescribes this Personal Information Protection Policy, has all officers and employees of the Company comply with this Personal Information Protection Policy cooperatively, and takes all possible measures to protect personal information and the rights and interests of individuals.

1. When acquiring personal information, the Company will specify the purpose of use as much as possible and acquire personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose.
2. When acquiring personal information in writing directly from customers, the Company will acquire personal information to the extent necessary after informing the customer of the name of the Company, the name and contact information of the personal information protection manager, the purpose of use, and other relevant information.
3. Personal information will be used within the scope of the purpose of use to which customers have given consent. In addition, the Company will establish and implement procedures to take necessary measures to ensure that personal information is not used for purposes other than those for which it was originally intended.
4. The Company will manage personal information in an appropriate manner and will not disclose or provide it to a third party without the consent of the customers.
5. The Company will manage retained personal information in an accurate and up-to-date state within the necessary scope according to the purpose of use, and will take reasonable safety measures against the risk of leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and endeavor to prevent and correct such risks.
6. When entrusting the processing of personal information to an external party, the Company will contractually obligate the external party not to leak or provide personal information to any third party and will implement appropriate management of the entrusted party.
7. The Company will respond to complaints and consultations regarding personal information held by the Company at the Company's inquiry desk.
8. The Company will comply with laws and regulations, national guidelines, and other standards regarding the handling of personal information.
9. The Company will establish a personal information protection management system, which will be periodically reviewed and continuously improved.
